[Robotgroup] Safety Circuit Design Question

Yes, there would be current flowing all the time and that would be a concern
for a battery operated circuit. Good point. (I've had CNC and related safety
circuits on my mind, so wasn't thinking from a battery perspective.)

As you pointed out, several NO switches can be used in parallel to make an
OR circuit. (You can also use several NC switches in series to get an AND
circuit.) So you could have several bumper switches all connected to the
same input pin (in either NO serial or NC parallel to detect an obstacle,
etc.
