hmmm, ok, well, maybe when I called a year or so ago, it was just a couple
people and whoever answered the phone wasn't supposed to. But, sounds like
they are reputable now, so I might order some of their SMT stuff from them.

He seemed quite knowledgeable about the product, he stood out there with
me for two full days talking to people about it, so I know he has
endurance! :) I got a chance to get the pitch from him and I really
think its a pretty cool concept.
Though I didn't spend an excessive amount of time talking to Neal (we
were both very busy with booth patrons), he was a personable guy who
really seemed to know his product and was enthusiastic about the
possibilities.
He did have an actual, physical version of the product (both on the
display board and one I handled) so I know the solder-by-numbers thing
is not "vapor ware" hardware.
As for the company, I have no personal experience from which to judge.
I've seen the videos showing the kids soldering surface mount components
using the "Schmartboard" system so I see that they make some neat and
interesting products, but I've not bought from them myself.
I'll send you his email contact info off line if you want to get in
touch with him to find out more. :)
