[Robotgroup] Saying so-long to PY ?

Hey, folks!

First, thanks to Denise and Kym for the idea to bring the cake to 
celebrate what was, in all likelihood, PY's last appearance at one of 
The Robot Group's meetings.

PY has informed me that she will be available on 2007-05-25, a 
Sunday, for a hike up Enchanted Rock.  I will be pitching this to 
both The Robot Group and the Austin Outrigger Canoe Club (two groups 
with a number of common members and some additional connections).

She really enjoys being outdoors and this might prove to be a great 
opportunity to send her off to Albany with a twist of Texas.

If you are interested, please let me know.  Barring a torrential 
downpour that day, Denise, PY, and I will make the trek.  Any and all 
are welcome along.

Enchanted Rock is a huge batholith (chunk of magma that cooled before 
it ever got to flowed to the surface as lava).  After central Texas 
rose from the ocean, the overlying strata eroded away, exposing the 
more durable pink granite of the batholith.

The distance to Enchanted Rock is something like 100 miles ... 
roughly 80 miles to Fredericksburg on US 290, then another 20 north 
on RR 965.
