Brooks,
Summer session was on-deck and I was getting ready for that when you
posted. Assuming that we can pull this event off, someone (me) will
get out there to get you to The Rock to see PY off (bribe or no
bribe).

Hey Brooks,
I'll be out of town, so I can't help with the ride, but I was wondering
about some quartz. Any chance you could save a small chunk for me. I'd like
to make a pummer which is basically an LED discharging into a quartz
crystal. Something that would fit in a large soda cup and is relatively
clear would be ideal. If that's not asking too much...
Thanks, Paul

Hello All-
I am on the hunt for old working FM radios to be used at this
year's Burning FlipSide; Austin/Texas' version of Burning Man.
Battery and/or AC powered. Tabletop or portable. Old
jam boxes with the CD or cassette player no longer working,
can find a second life. Please drop radios off at our house's
carport @ 620 Fairfield Lane, or call/email me about possible
pick up. Please no junk, "boat anchors", or non-working radios.
Deadline: Tuesday, June 20th.
Thanks!

Yes, I know him! isn't he the KUT guy and also the veteran of Austin
Access TV?
I saw him at Maker Faire.., he was also part of the Discovery Incubator
(Austin 's first cyber cafe and gaming bar in the mid nineties) which is
now where Hoovers is on east Manor road. It had this big Pyramid on top,
I used to work there for a while...
I am amazed how small the Austin World is!
