Well, it looks like it's on....  It appears that we'll have to hit it 
early to assure that we can get into the park before it closes [often 
as early as 1000 hrs].  It is, after all, the Memorial Day weekend.

The critical feature in park closure appears to be the number of 
parking spaces.  If you plan to attend, try to carpool ... save $$$ 
on fuel @ prices nearing $4.00 / gallon, wear-and-tear on the 
vehicle, etc.

Entry fee is $5.00 per person 13+ years of age.  If you hold a Texas 
State Parks Pass ($60 / year), all passengers in your vehicle are 
exempted from entry fees at all state parks.
