Nobody is complaining about David Friedman's work on GDC. The opposite 
is the case. This discussion is about whether it is worthwhile for 
others to join his greatly appreciated effort to make it even more 
useful by updating it more often. Since GDC is licensed under the GPL, 
David obviously encourages such considerations.
