There's also this game developers meetup club in San Francisco
http://gamedev.meetup.com/35/?gj=sj2 its held on the third Tuesday of
every month. You can signup on the website for details. I'm not sure
if you'll be there at that time however I thought I'd mention it. Its
basically a meet, greet and talk about games while eating/drinking.
Anyone is free to come along.
