In principle I'm very interested, but the fact that it's closed source is not very appealing for
such a component (no possibility to modify it when needed and a black box for possibly security
critical uses). It also doesn't seem to be ported to the mobile platforms, which makes it an
uncertain development target.
My plan for sometime in the future when I really need it was basically to write/modify a back end
directly for WebKit that uses my renderer/UI library as the target. But I'll definitely take a
closer look at Awesomium once I get to that point.
