Not in Windows:
typedef BYTE BOOLEAN;
typedef int BOOL;

While ideally it should be TRUE or FALSE, sometimes it isn't.
In fact, for functions that return BOOL, MSDN states the
following:
"If the function succeeds, the return value is nonzero."
