New **Parin** version!
I didn't want to make a blog post about it, so here is a short
forum post instead.

- DUB: https://code.dlang.org/packages/parin
- GitHub: https://github.com/Kapendev/parin

#### What's New

- [Web builds](https://github.com/Kapendev/parin#web-builds) use
the [LDC
1.43](https://forum.dlang.org/thread/vehouugxzztbccotijmg@forum.dlang.org) add-on feature by default, and **the -betterC flag is opt-in** instead of opt-out.
- `dub init -t parin` creates a .zed folder that includes a
debug.json and dlang_formatters.py for LLDB. Check out this [X
post](https://x.com/Kapendev/status/2108708015151128670) to see
how slices and AAs look.
- `dub run parin:server` was added to avoid depending on external
tools like Python's http.server. It can also be used for things
that are not related to Parin. Thanks adr.
- `dub run parin:web-wasi` was added. This is **a very WIP
backend for Parin** that doesn't use Emscripten to target the
web. Its main goals are ensuring reliable web builds and
improving the developer experience by avoiding C code
([wasip1libc-d](https://github.com/Kapendev/wasip1libc-d)).
- The [addons
folder](https://github.com/Kapendev/parin/tree/main/source/parin/addons) is now a place for single-file D libraries that extend Parin. If you have an idea, make a PR and add it to that folder. I might not accept it, but you never know.
- Modules like ui, map, and sprite were merged into the engine
module. Something similar happened to the included bindings too.
This reduced the D file count from 37 to 25.
- A lot of Parin types (`Sprite`, `Map`, `Timer`, ...) live now
inside the Joka library that is included with Parin. This makes
it easier to port code from Parin to a different library. See
[this raylib-d
example](https://github.com/Kapendev/hex_merge_jam).
- The README is now way more concise and easier to read, for both
humans and AIs. The TOUR and CHEATSHEET were also updated.
