This regression has existed since 2.063.2.

git bisect shows that it's caused by this commit:
a1dd1ab5140fee5dbed2e18a1a952cd2d42699c7 - fix Issue 9788 - -profile doesn't
work if exceptions are thrown in the running program

It only happens when compiling with -profile.
