The consensus was definitely in favor of _not_ having strict property
enforcement, and I believe that both Walter and Andrei agreed with that, and
without strict property enforcement, -property is pointless and incorrect. So,
I would fully expect Walter or Andrei to pre-approve this if they saw it, but
AFAIK, they haven't read this enhancement request.
