Generally, the solution to situations where you are forced to use unusually old
software is to use similarly old software. Old releases of D are available at
http://downloads.dlang.org/releases/2.x/.

As this bug was filed over 2 years ago, I'm going to close it; please reopen if
you think this issue is still relevant today.
