We have been experiencing some issues with regards to the codecov uploader.
These issues have been encountered by others too

Once codecov fix their problems with the uploader, we can re-enable the codecov
test:

An alternative workaround worth trying is to pass the CODECOV_TOKEN to the
uploader as specified in the first link.
