Which SciD to use (if at all)?

Hi All,

I've just started using "kyllingstad/scid" but it hasn't been 
updated for a while and I just found a fork which references some 
GSoC work.

Is SciD is still maintained and which should I use?

Or is there an alternative that is more active?
