More modern from which perspective? Simpler to use (non-inclusive
list of options: SDL2/Allegro/SFML bindings, cairod, DLib,
dgame)? Or more modern from GPU acceleration perspective (you're
probably wanting derelict-vulkan or derelict-bgfx)?
