Use SDL3 ([bindings](https://code.dlang.org/packages/bindbc-sdl)) 
to create a window and draw into it. You can render text by using 
FreeType 2 or SDL3_ttf.

Use dub or redub. You really don’t want to include dependencies 
on the command line, it’s a pain.
