Would a modern native desktop UI framework and VS Code designer be interesting for the D community?

Depends what you want to achieve. If your goal is true, pure D
GUI toolkit, then yes I may be interested in contributing. I am
already "knee deep" in the excellent giD
(https://github.com/Kymorphia/gid) (doc:
https://www.kymorphia.com/gid/) project, and terminal (DTerm) I
use many hours per day is based on giD.

If your goal is to do yet another set of bindings, then I am
definitely not interested.

Finally, Adam's minigui is already doing this, so you could start
from there perhaps.
