In article <dua0e3$lnd$1 at digitaldaemon.com>, Stewart Gordon says...

You're right.
Someone else brought up this point before:

For a time there, I was using both www.wikiservice.at and www.prowiki.org
without realizing it. I couldn't figure out why I was having to tell the wiki
who I was so often. ;)
>Both are identical and equally up to date AFAICT.
Yep.

Helmut explanins some:

http://www.digitalmars.com/drn-bin/wwwnews?digitalmars.D/4247
I guess it's good for Helmut's business to provide options? I think he provided
more details somewhere else, but I couldn't find it.

For what it's worth, I think that prowiki.org is preferred. That seemed to be
the consensus when this issue was brought up the first time. I've tried to use
prowiki.org links when I recommend a Wiki4D page and that's what Digital Mars
uses for the comment pages.
I don't think the name of the server affects the speed at all. Each server is
probably in the same building (if they're not virtual servers anyway).
