FYI:
"shite" is a very common term in Australia (excluding recent migrants, 
most Australians have some Irish ancestry). It's not just a less 
offensive spelling, there's a definite nuance. If you drop off the 'e', 
the meaning would be different, it would convey a lot more anger.
