Note that Ruby before RoRails was nearly unknown even if it is a very 
interesting language in itself.

Of course Ruby is a very different language with a very different target 
so what was true for Ruby is not necessarily true for D..


That said Tiobe is weird: SAS? ABAP?
Never heard about them.
