To me this show why D may be the "better" language syntacticly in the 
long run.  While legacy code is a great thing, it also is a weight 
around C++'s head.  D still has the flexibility to take on many of these 
good features that would be improbable in C++ due to all parties involved.

Although I hope that D takes a serious look at the new much more 
complicated CPU architectures because I'm afraid that is one area where 
it could be left behind.
