true, of course. it's all a question of choosing the right tools for the 
task.
IMHO, the problem is, that interpreted and VM languages have become that 
popular, that they are often being deployed in the wrong places. people 
start writing anything in the language they like or know best, 
regardless of whether it's the right tool for the job. and half baked 
arguments are being used to justify that.
it has become necessary to point out what native tools can do at any 
given opportunity. this especially includes rectifying several myths 
about VMs.
