On the contrary, I am saying nothing whatsoever about D1. You could
argue that it has a spec; you could argue that it doesn't - frankly, I
don't care either way.

What I /am/ saying though, is that D2 does /not/ have a spec, and
therefore one cannot make any claims that the D2 compiler is, or is
not, "behaving correctly", and therefore cannot use that as a basis to
decide what should or should not be backported to D1.
