I honestly don't see a problem with the response "C++ can't do that
either". That's not C++ bashing, that's challenging an assertion.
Basically, I disagree with Georg.

It's propositional calculus, plain and simple. If someone says "X
implies Y", one should be allowed to respond with "X is false".
