Andrei, congratulations on starting the most interesting thread I have seen on dm.D for as long as I can remember.  It has managed to stay really focused, and has produced a lot of interesting suggestions.

I don't envy you the task of sorting through them - but you did ask. From what you've seen so far, are we talking Phobos or language issues, and if both, in what proportion?
