While from a direction/mgmt perspective it isn't, from a usage 
perspective it indeed is. Shall I give yet more reasons why web forums 
suck so bad? I am only speaking up because it would be such a downer to 
HAVE to use a web forum. I use them of course, but because I HAVE to 
(those places where there is no other interface available). That said, I 
usually just sign up on web forums for those current and fleeting 
situations, leave when I find get the answer, and then hardly ever go 
there for any other reason (such as browsing what is new, etc.). I mean, 
why would I go somewhere painful unless I had to? I'll bet that most 
forums have tons of stagnant accounts on them that will never ever be 
used again. Yet the site has to maintain that data for so long before 
purging it. I wonder if they have to keep the spam sign ups too?
