You know, my first impression of Swift was "ugh, a 'me too'
JS/Python-like language...", but I admit, the algebraic types, ARC and
generics have my attention now. It's no D, but how many languages have
even half-way decent generics, let alone that plus algebraics?
My only opinion of ObjC is "I've never quite been able to understand
it". So Swift does, at the very least, seem like it may be a notable
improvement.
