What are the worst parts of D?

You forget that D is now actively used at Facebook, and better 
C++ interop would allow them to slowly phase out more and more 
C++ code. The more Facebook uses D, the more support it will 
provide. Not to mention the social capital that D would gain from 
the fact that it's heavily used and supported at Facebook. It's 
not even really a question of whether C++ support should be 
worked on or not, in my opinion.
