Maybe a good idea would be to collect bindings for a single 
domain (like image processing) then see if it is possible to 
build an easy to use abstraction over it. If done for one domain 
at the time it might lead to something.

The basic idea being that all the registered external libraries 
can be used for simpler applications with an easier to use 
interface.

Obvious use case would be format conversion/feature extraction.
