I don't think so, but it could be because I've got an older version of git. 
I took a quick look at the 2.066.1 tag on github, and it doesn't look like 
there's any mention of -conf in phobos' posix.mak

Do you maybe have it in an environment variable or dmd.conf that's getting 
picked up?
