Note: I'm only touching the 'Linux' C++ mangling code, so I'm 
only interested C++ mangling issues on the following platform: 
TARGET_LINUX, TARGET_OSX, TARGET_FREEBSD, TARGET_OPENBSD, 
TARGET_SOLARIS.
