Ideas for students' summer projects

Some idea on how to restore the capacity to encapsulate a class 
would be really welcome.

i.e
-  prevent surrounding code from penetrating an objects private 
parts.
-  make unittests useful again, by not allowing them to penetrate 
an objects private parts.
