Cookies not working in Microsoft Edge web browser

They do appear to work for me in general in Edge. Do you set the 
"domain" attribute for the cookie, and which is the domain of the 
request that is being made? That sounds like the most likely source of 
failure, since domain validation can behave differently for IP addresses 
or /etc/hosts based domains like "localhost".
