That doesn't seem like a good gameplan to me because it's only THE 
ABSO!@#$#@!$!@#$LUTELY MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE ENTIRE DEAL.

If you cut phobos open, do surgery after surgery on it, and only then 
think of how you're going to close the patient, you'll get some 
Frankenstein monster as a result.
