Hm, what the point is, then? The first thought is that in your 
opinion is that the languge maintainers should more clearly admit 
some mistakes you think they have made.

But that can't be everything. If you were simply fed up with the 
langauge and it's leadership, you would just leave. There are 
thousands of screwed up projects at the Internet, and they are 
simply abandoned. What is it that is holding you here arguing for 
the sinking ship (as that is what D is judging by your posts)?
