Are we talking MS notepad.exe? :)
I (also) don´t like big IDEs and prefer rather lightweight
editors - sublime text is somewhere between Notepad++ and MS
VSCode. But IMO good code navigation, signature/parameter hints
and a proper code highlighting are the minimum.
