A .NET like tooling and support ecosystem.

The language itself, is the least interesting (but still 
important) component ;-)

If I gave D to may co-workers, they say:

"How the f$!^ I am meant to build this solution in D. For christ 
sake! Go away!".

But for a simple console program, that might be interested in D.
