Hey, good to see some people joining in on expressing gratitude 
for people's work!

I was wondering yesterday if I'd overstepped my bounds since I am 
a newbie and maybe that was why nobody had responded, but then 
again forums don't get as much traffic these days anyway even 
though they are a healthier environment than social media in my 
opinion, especially these days. Good to see I hadn't committed a 
little faux pas unwittingly.

Anyway, looking forward to working with D and SDL3. I even 
ordered printed copies of the two main D books even though it 
isn't really necessary given the abundance of online 
documentation. Working with a cleaner alternative to C++ should 
be nice, hearkening back to back when I was a professional game 
dev years ago. It should be nice to get back in the swing of it 
more substantively again! I've been meaning to for a long time!
