The stream was okay, but it got funny at the end. My main 
takeaway is that the experience for new users trying to use D 
without GC isn't great. It seems like things would be easier if 
he knew about `@nogc` and `nothrow`, but most people start by 
learning about betterC first, which is an advanced and kind of 
weird feature.
