Years ago I made a game and posted on that same site, it hit the 
top for long hours and stayed on the front page for about 2 days, 
and all I got was about 70K visits (Unique users), but when I 
looked around on google, I found out that at same time my url was 
spread to some reddit subs as well. So is hard to say where the 
visitors came.

Months later I released another game a posted there, it stayed 
for a couple of hours on the front page and I gathered less than 
3K visits, this time there was less reddit sharing.
