I know this project is over and you've moved on to some other 
things...

I'm not sure what the best interface would be for this, but I 
think it would be useful to see some profiling info (think 
flamegraphs) of some of the workloads to see where the 
bottlenecks are.  There's been a lot of work on DMD 
optimizations, for example the recent work on using a bump 
allocator, and it would be helpful to know where optimization 
effort should be focused.
