being on topic doesn't matter, the topic is walter trying and 
failing to convince everyone he made the right call on float.init 
for the 4000th time

Github is declining, the alternatives should be criticized before 
theres a complete swap. Codeberg has worked perfectly for me, 
thats all the more reason to hear about it failing for someone 
else.
