What works for a private codebase at a private company that 
publishes very little of it's codebase publicly will almost 
certainly fail when applied to a general purpose public ecosystem 
that lacks any of the guardrails that a private codebase has.

Shared libraries are a fact of life and as a general purpose 
ecosystem we have to support them. Therefore, the components of 
the runtime and standard library that must be separated to 
function correctly with other shared libraries *must* be 
separated as such.
