Jordi, need you to mod tools to accept beta naming convention. Using 
create_dmd_release the pkg created for beta 1 is:

     dmd.v2.065-b1.zip

Presently scripts in installer/linux/ do not recognize this format. 
Initial progress was made changing following lines:
