[ENet-discuss] How to determine send rate?

I  use enet to send  many data like this
while(1)
{
    packet = enet_packet_create ("packet", 
                                              strlen ("packet") + 1, 
                                              ENET_PACKET_FLAG_RELIABLE);

    enet_peer_send (peer, 0, packet);

  ......
     poll();

}

Because enet_peer_send is non-blocking,if i send continuously ,
the send buffer will full.How can konw this and slow down send rate?
