Yes, the build certainly shouldn't be left in a broken state. I posted
a version which avoids the name conflict as
https://github.com/D-Programming-Language/phobos/pull/782.

The pull request passed the tests before DMD pull request #163 was
merged in, though, so maybe Peter (or Walter) can confirm that the
change in behavior is intended?
