This is clearly off topic (like much of this thread has been *after* Jim 
posted his original axioms).  Jim's original post was on-topic and could 
have spawned interesting technical discussion rather than what it did.

If people think something is off-topic, I'd rather someone just drop me 
an email publicly ignore it than have a useless thread like we've had in 
the last 24 hours.
