In trunk there is already a script which makes tarballs, it should 
already work too (i didn't test).

I didn't proceded in distributing any .deb or tarball cuz i hope to 
finish the gcc 4.4 port anytime soon... ;)

In any case, if you feel interested in this topic, you can contribute 
as well testing that script and say us if it produces a good tarball 
or not ;)
