On Windows there is also an awesome free alternative, I've just
"discovered" a few days ago: Visual-D ! People will say that it's
rather well known but you can install it for FREE with
VisualStudio 2012 shell (integrated + isolated). VS is a
rock-solid IDE and the Visual-D plugin is as good as mono-D. And
you can debug btw...
